Questions
Countertop FAQ
What affects the cost of new countertops?+
Price depends mainly on the material and the specific slab you choose, the total square footage, edge profiles, the number of sink and cooktop cutouts, backsplash height, and whether old tops need removing. We provide a clear, itemized quote after measuring your space.
How long does a countertop project take?+
Timing varies with material availability, project size and when your cabinets are ready for templating. Because we template, fabricate and install in-house, we can give you a realistic schedule at your consultation and keep you updated throughout.
Which countertop material is right for me?+
Granite and quartzite are durable natural stones with unique patterns; quartz is engineered for consistency and needs no sealing; marble and soapstone offer a classic look with more character over time. We'll help you compare options in our slab yard based on how you use the space.
Do you take on small jobs?+
Yes — no job is too small. We're happy to handle a single bathroom vanity, a bar top, window sills or a small repair with the same care we give a full kitchen.
